who's got what for replacement bucket seats? and consoles

i had some firebird seats in my ol 88 or were they thunderbird? idk

hehehe i am getting some jeep grand cherokee seat console and rear seat...not that i need them... for $20 so we'll see what happens with that. they dont look too big.


are you guys just swapping brackets, or is there much fab to do?

Possibility of pics of said seats/brackets? I got some eclipse seats and they dont line up for crap...and I REALLY REALLY wanna get em in...especially if I get this new job...its all driving so I need my butt to be comfy! PLEASE MANG!!!!! LOL! Thanks

pretty sure I am gonna have to fab something for mines.....but they look so damn comfy...well anything is compared to my seat! LOL

You should be able to unbolt the eclipse rails and bolt up the mazda ones. I am not sure though.... Maybe this weekend I will play with it and let you know.

not on these....unless I wanna lose all the adjustments....the back/forth is tied into em, the lumbar/back support is another bracket.....looks like a mess.....appreciate anything you got bro....Ill try and get some pics of mine..tops bottoms and sides.

Yeah the adjustment rails are actually bolted to a steel frame on the bottom of the seat. I took the rails off of my old buckets on my red truck and then put them on the seats seen below...think they were s-10 buckets sans headrest and recovered.
I will take a look this weekend and see for ya.

yea...had mine all apart...had my rails still in one piece and was hoping I could just swap over...but our seat adjust lock teeth are on top....the Mitsu's are side mounted and all the hardware is tied to it, the 4 adjustments...I THINKING I might be able to fab some L bracket or some channel metal and make some mounts or something....dunno yet....gonna hit a local steel joint for some metal tomorrow....lets hope it all goes together like planned

i have some black and red "racing" seats that i'm trying to get rid of

oh I am waaaay to wimpy for racing seats...lol....Im a comfort luxury type...that just happens to dig on small trucks. LOL!
