I tried the search and have yet to come up with anything......curious if anyone has pics of their set ups of a sub in the jack location of an ext cab? Any insight on how it sounds/best way to go about it....is much appreciated.

it probably wouldnt sound too good due to there being no air space for it.

a 10'' is about the biggest you could go. Depending on the sub you choose it may or may not be sufficient air space.

Its very doable with fiberglass, not sure how many cubic feet it is but if you have more than 1.5 you could run a single 10 and port it no problem.

sorry off topic but what kind for wheel do you have on your truck?

Lol they are 17's off of a 2006??? sierra. The chrome is a glued on overlay that has since been pulled off and wheels were painted flat black to complete the murdering out of the truck. I really need a new sig pic. That is from so long ago. Looks nothing like that now

what you might be able to do is to install your amp in the jack area, maybe install some sort of vent for airflow/keeping it cool.

It is ery doable and if you had .5 to .75 you can run a sealed enclosure. But your biggest issue would. Be woofer mounting depth. It probably won't sound good . I think you'd be better off building an enclosure to set in the ext cab part.

My workmate had a 10" in the jack area of his hilux when he bought it, the guy had done his best to seal it up but there was just too many gaps to get them all, the sub just couldn't punch so we tried filling everything with space invader and gaffa taping all inside, that helped a little but it still sounded pretty weak.
So in the end we made a box that sat behind his seat on the floor and that kept him happy for a while.
You could probably make a sub go in there but I would think to make it worthwhile you would need to cut a hole in the seat frame and fiberglass a whole box in there instead
