Heres the deal on my mazda.

I was 16 when I purchased this. Im 18 now

So one of my good buddys basically made me belive he knew how to do 4 links and such, and how to weld and such,WRONG. I had no knowledge on how to do it and he convinced me he could. The only thing I did to the truck was plumb the tank, compressors valves, and lines, notch the front end so the bags wouldnt rub, and the c notch

I have no current pics of the set up he did, but it was a 3 link wishbone set up, with everything running backwards and all under the axle nothing on top none, then after that broke he took everything that was reversed and ran it foward, cut my 2x2 1/4" steel tubing in half and pieced them together, then made a crossmember for the wishbone to sit on out of 1x1, none the less it was a death trap.

So he hacked my truck together, me not knowing that I could have been seriously hurt from the work he did, I was proud as shit I was laying frame, but then it started shit starting breaking and I got worried. So I posted pics online and then it started, I found out he hacked my shit up I was pissed So I did alot of research and this is were im at, re-doing all the mistakes that were made, to make this truck a more reliable and safer.

Progress will be kinda slow due to funds, but its not rolling back out of the garage untill everything is re-done right and legit.

Good For You!
What's that old saying?

"If it's worth doing, It's worth doing RIGHT!"
"If at first you don't suceed, TRY,TRY again!"

I have almost no doubt I will find myself at the same stage as you at one time or another, maybe for breakages or maybe just for the hell of bettering something with more knowlege as I continue along this golden mini truckers path that just get's better and better by the minute!

Have good christmas and new year my Pre 85 DAWG friend and hold ya head high while you ummmmmm...

CUT THAT SHIT!

Cheers Micker!

Did you punch him in the heart? Man,if I trusted someone to do some serious fabrication like that to my truck and they messed it all up or did it horrible job, they would never hear the end of me until my fist knocked them out cold.

Good to see you're getting it all fixed up and taking your time and doing it right. You've got a wicked little truck man. I wish I had a bagged truck when I was 18...hell I'm 21 i a few weeks and still wishI had a bagged truck, lol.

Best of luck with everything....oh yeah and when you get your new suspension work done, don't let that guy anywhere near your truck. EVER.
