I'm so spoiled by facebook and mobile uploads I always forget about forums.

Well I had the 350 ready to go and ran into a insane amount of problems with the steering. I was going to start redoing everything but a buddy called and told me he had a motor that he thought might work and sure as shit it did.

So from the beginning.

After having this rollpan for 6 years I guess its finally time to put it on. Which it's 1/4" to long....no names to be mentioned about who made it lol. Little slpppy, but I didn't want to warp it.

The brace is to keep the rear end from sagging. Had 1x2 ran up the side and down about halfway, ran out of metal so I used what I had laying around.

I didn't want to do a smooth combo because I like the way the factory tail gate looks, so whats the next best solution? Weld it up of course.

Houston we have a big problem.

So that motor was sold and it's replacement was brought in.
231 v6 motor out of a old omega. Oilpan was PERFECT for a rear steer truck!!

Motor mounts with just a little gusset for shits and giggles, there already welded all the way around the bung.

Progress is looking good so far man. You're truck is going to fly with that v6.

About the roll pan, they are typically longer on the bottom anyway so you can roll it under and also this accounts for people setting different tailgate to roll pan gaps.
