Well I Just purchased a broke down mazda b2200 its an 89 and its ec sb 5spd. body is straight frame is good but primer is old and tired and the interior is shot and i have no clue if it runs, it was stolen a few years ago and has sat since, the ignition is tore back and i will soon get one i bought from v8mazda4ever. Then the truth will be told wether or not it runs lol. anyway i just got the title tuesday and went to take pics of it this morning before work.. give you an idea of what kinda project ive just got myself into. now, i am putting a skin on the back and maybe shaving the taillights(not sure yet), so anyone who wants the chrom tailgate handel can have it $5.00 plus shipping, and pretty sure i am going to get rid of the fender trim too. havent decided on a price for that, anyway. i was wondering if anyone knows of anyseats that are a direct bolt in on this truck? i have fabbed seat brackets before and find it to be a pain in the arse.. so any help would be great. Before this truck I had a 91 toyota ec sb automatica which i shaved and bagged. just recently sold it and time for a new project. let me know your input, oh and btw i paid 400.00 for this truck, oil is clean radiator is clean and the way the truck sits is how it has sat for about 3 years..

Other than needing an entire new interior, that truck looks straight as an arrow. I wish we could find something that clean up here for $400.
Looks like that truck is pretty well equipped too. I spot power steering and a tilt column,as well as the obvious chrome pieces and map pocket door panels.
Nice buy. Definetly worth the price for a project.
Yea nice, Looks like it has had flood damage or something, by the shape on the interior...everythings rusted. good start tho.
I'd gut the major peices in the interior, pull out the seats, the door panels, the rug, anything thats really damaged, patch any holes if needed, and go from there...Wipe everything down as well... thats what i'd do anyways. Keep us updated with new pictures of the progress.
i will update as i go, i appreciate veryones input, not exactly "flood" damage, the people who stole it 3 years ago had smashed the back and window and nobody bothered to fix it or even tape it up, so its seen 3-4 winters lol anyway yea its an extremely straight truck i am going to gut the interior entirely and replace it with new stuff, all the rust is only on the inside, on the column and what not i and going to sand em then paint em, and the floorboard is rust free, i checked it yesterday so thats good.. anyone have a solid back glass for cheap?
Well, was just talking to my buddy who i got the truck from he says it has a stage II clutch (why? i dont know) and a flowmaster muffler on it. if its too loud i will sell it for practically nothing.. anyway i was told the holley 5200 carb is a direct bolt in, anyone kow if i cans till pass emissions in california with that carb?.. A guy i work with has one and he will give it to me... should i get it?
haha thanks man, i hope its runs, i dont care if it runs like crap, as long as it runs.. soon i should have the ignition, howd everything work out with the money order?
