By the power of Grayskull... what happened to the driver's seat? Looks like something died there... and then rotted.

Looks like you have quite a project on your hands.

I look forward to seeing your progress.

During the summer I'll be sprucing up an '86 B2000 that will become my 16-year old son's daily driver. He learnt how to drive stick last winter and I figure if I get him a mini-truck with bucket seats instead of a bench he's limited as to what he can do with the ladies. LOL !!!

hahaha, ill clean up these buckets and give em to you haha, nah the back window has been bashed out for about 3 years now and nobody bothered to ever cover it up, so its seen some pretty rough times in the interior, Im purchasing some black bucket racing seats (vynil) next week for, soon ill have my skin and everything for the rear, then wait some more save up and buy the bag equipment, hard to save when youre 20 with a wife and a daughter haha, but i enjoy it all, and its always fun to have hands on projects, you and your son going to bag that 86?

Nope, it's staying pretty close to stock as it will double as the family work truck and used to haul dirt, gravel, lumber, etc...

well yesterday, i hooked up the ignition and dumped some oil in her, and put some 2 stroke gas in the tank to lube up the cylinder and i sprayed some starting fluid in the carb, and it fired right up, not even turning over 2 times just fired, was awesome, now i have to figure out the brakes, there arent any, the pedal goes to the floor, and there is fluid in the master cylinder and it doesnt deplete with the push of the pedal.... it just stays there even when i tak the cap off and press the pedal it doesnt squirt up like usual... any suggestions on what this could be? any help would be great, i will be uploading a video of it running, its the first mazda i have ever heard with no tick whatsoever, i am stoked!!! the exhaust that i was told was a flowmaster is far from it lol its a glass pacl, which will be replaced with a stock muffler, to be nice and quiet, right now i think the timing is off, because when i rev it up it back fires hard, i was on the phone with v8mazda4ever when i was recording the video... anyway it starts, runs and doesnt blow smoke... any help on the brakes would be appreciated greatly thanks everyone.. so all in all i am 519 dollars onto this truck after new parts and cost of vehicle and cost of title transfer, not including the skin an taillight fillers and plexi glass window.

Well last night i came home and got my new couches delivered which i might add are super friggin comfy!! and then my gf shows me a big box that came for me, from fbi i open it up and low and behold, my tailgate skin with leds are here, the tac converters arent there though and my taillight fillers arent there and nor is my rear window, which is fine im in no rush anyway. i called em up and the rest of the parts are out of stock so i will wait for them to show up, anyway im excited my truck is running and the brakes work enough to stop it, so i figure its the master cylinder, anyway i will be taking it home here shortly to pull the bed and start the body drop on the bed that way i can install my tailgate skin and shave my taillights. just figured id post updates as they come, i will take pics of my skin and everything whn the rest of the parts come in. oh and tomorrow im buying a stock replacement muffler so i dont hear that annoying backfire.

Got my TAC converters today, so now i gotta fix the brakes this weekend and hopefully drive it home this weekend and pull the bed so i can start the body drop and then i can go ahead and skin my tailgate, i am excited, im slowly moving along, in no rush so its all good, any input on body dropping my bed would be nice, never did b4 and im going into weither way, so some guidance would be good, i wanna go high enough on my bed floor to clear everything, i want no holes in my bed floor
