Just got my first mazda.Sold :(

so what do you guys think might have happened? i cant figure out what happened and how this could happen lol, it doesnt make sense on how the dent is located lol anyway im going to try and fix it.. you guys think some fiberglass would work and the a tiny bit of bondo??? im not good at big body work projects, so any help would be great thanks guys

To fix that and fix it right you really need to fix the metal. Looks like it was hit in the back side of the bed right before the tail light. and someone took a pry bar and pushed it back out. You can get a cheap body hammer set at Napa for around 20 bucks. It also has some dollies if I'm not mistaken you can reach the back side of that panel with the dollies and tap the metal closer to its stock shape. Once you get it closer to stock then you can some fiberglass reinforced filler to finish out the shape. here is a good site for autobody

you could dolly that out but i think you might be better off going to the junkyard and getting a new bedside, unless you dont mind tink tinking with a hammer for quite a few hours.

Where my money kid? I should be done with the Mazda next week, then I got a week before the Nissan comes. I gotta order the parts.

i dont mind, lol im in no real rush anyway, if i get sick of it ill go and get a bed side, either way itll be a learning experience for me on doing body work
