im planning on cuttin the pillars and glass down. the top wont be for months. i was thinking about some sort of mazda miata style crash bars. i dunno though, my seats sit down nice and low. theyre level with the back of the cab.

looks pretty bitchin so far but are you sure you wanna do a carson top? I dunno dude. a regular hard top would be cool

He just wants a top to be able to throw on real quick when it rains. It's alot easier to store a soft top in a BD'd mini than a hard top.

especially one for a chop top, and I am pretty sure that carson tops are like a mix between a soft and hard top, the frame and mesh is rigid, but the material that goes over it is a cloth or vynal, it will hold its shape, but be a heck of a lot lighter then a full metal or fiberglass hardtop

true - i guess that was my way of saying i don't like carson tops.

i dont think id ever do it to my truck but it does look really good as a roadster. a nice summer cruiser

Its on motorcycle terms... ride it whens its nice outside, and if you get caught in the rain you get wet, fuk it, i dont mind. its an excuse for me not to drive my truck so often, as lame as it sounds. after loosing my impala, driving my pride and joy on a daily basis is no longer an option. it has become a "special occasion"
