And here is the spindle in place.

Had to get new upper ball joints the nice thing is that the new ones have a zerk fitting to grease them.

Here is how high it is up into the fender well so far I need another 1 1/2 inches to make sure it will lay frame hard.

and here is how much I have so far cut out of the wheel well. I all have lost is the widshield bottle so far I am going to get some small rubber molding to put around the hole to clean it up a little

Here I am starting to get the rest of my drop by removing the bottom part of the frame and then open up the lower control arm abit.

I have decided to use one bag in the back and put it right over the pumpkin it is big enough to lift the back and more.

It's just alittle bigger than the re-7 but I will need to get the port opened up to a 1/2 port.

Na just kidding but it is a big bag thou.

Please use adequate hardware.

What do you mean adequate hardware. Are you talking about the bolts for the lower ball joint or are you just kidding around because most of my bolts and hardware are grade 5 to 8 bolts all from brafasco. And the hard ware that is holding the lowers in are just so i can mock everything up.

I am serious. The stock bolts on the lower balljoints are grade 10.8. Grade 5 is half that, and not adequate. Grade 8 is fine enough because it is roughly equivalent to a metric grade 10.8.

Thanks I will get the grade 10 ones for the lowers thanks for the heads up, I have always used the grade 8 on my lowers. learn something everyday.

Grade 8 is fine for the lowers, grade 5 is not. I was saying an American grade 8 is about the same as a Metric grade 10.8. You can get an American grade 9, or you can get Black Cat bolts where are roughly Grade 14-16, but they start at 1/2". If you use American bolts, Grade 8 is fine, Metric needs to be 10.8. Theres just a difference in ratings. Such as the grade 8.8 Metric, is roughly a grade 5 American.

At least every one will know now what to use on the ball joints when changing them Thanks seth for the heads up again.

Thats going to have huge roll with a center bag. Personally I wouldn't do it. I've seen it before and for performance wise it is about the worst thing that you can do and safety wise its really bad too. The whole rear of the truck is held up by one bag thats located in the center.
