project: dirty girl ..SOLD!!!*update*

i just replaced the front bumper on it last night and cleaned up the rad support, tonight, im going to tinker with it some more, i think im going to power wash the engine, i cant really do much till i get to the auto body supply store, going to pick up some paint and body filler, i still need to go to the wreckers and pick up a few little things so i can pass a safety and put it on the road, ive ordered my red metal flake, should be here soon, my buddy is bringing me a huge shifter out of a u-haul truck
i still have a delima with the bed, so i think im going to cut out the inside of the bed like i were to do a body drop, and to the same to the donor bed and swap the good skins to the good floor,

well, got home from work today, and there was a box sitting by the door way for me, i was more excited then a kid at christmas

im eager to see how this one turns out. believe it or not your truck is the truck that drew me to lowriders. i was just lookin at cardomain seen it and fell in love with it. to me it was the greatest thing in the world. i seen it on there about 3 or 4 years ago, way before i knew anything about anything. just figured you might want to know that. goodluck on the build

lol thanks man, my truck seems to do that, we hired a kid at work and i just pulled my truck out of storage, so on my day off i dropped by work, to talk to my boss, when i pulled up in front of the shop, the new kid stopped walking and his jaw dropped, he stood there for a couple mins like a statue, i laughed, and i went and talked to the boss, and as i was leaving i intruduced myself and the first thing he said was " this is the truck thats on my backround on my computer, i have so many pics of your truck", it freaked me out a little, but i said thanks and went my way, a few months down the road he ended up buying another one of my mazdas that i had and we did a bunch of work on it to make it look good and shit,

and that person is on this site, its nothingbutcowboy.... sorry jason i spilled the beans lol

update:
for the past few weeks i havent done much to it cuz i was losing interenst in it, but the other day i was bored, and i thought id id go and mess around with it, i thought i got it running properly, but it was backfiring when i gave the gas and a shitty idle, i changed a bunch of sensors and nothing, plugs wires, fuel filter, and trying other shit, and nothing,
for shits and gigles i pulled out the distributor and moved it over a tooth, and put it back in and started right up but ran still rough
i had a couple friends over and pulled the spare bed off, jumped in it and was about to go for a drive when it stalled, i tried to start it back up and nothing, check for spark, i got nothing, so the first thing i did was swap it out for the 2nd spare computer i had and started right up and ran better, so off i do to beat on the truck, made it back with no problems, engine problems are gone,

then i took the doors off and replaced them for a better set, but before i put them on i peeled the seam sealer cleaned the edges, seam sealed it and painted the door jams and assembled them and then put them on,
painted and installed a new bumper and grill,
cleaned the engine bay and installed a cone filter and pipe,
then tonight,since the wife is sick and there were no plans i installed the new shifter, from a u-haul truck, i like it

the interior needs cleaning, and i might have to put this project on hold cuz it cant stay in my driveway for the winter when the snow hits
