ok so Iv havnt really gotten to know many people on here and i havnt been on here a whole lot so let me try and get to know some of you. First off my name is Dave I work at a Electrical transformer parts factory I am a fork lift driver. I live in st louis mo. I use to have a 94 s10 then I couldnt get it to pass emissions the motor was knockin and was falling apart so I sold it in March and bought me an 86 mazda b2000 for 800 USD on IT had 93xxx miles on it when I bought it. On the drive home The brakes werent working so I get it to my parents house and look at it the front driverside brake line rusted out. othen thatn that I havnt dont a whole lot to it front brakes, tune up, oil change, tranny oil change. ther bed was all rusted out so I bought two sheets of plywood and cut them to fit and painted each side with 5 coats of deck coat and bolted it to the inside of bed.when I got her she just got a brand new gas tank and exhaust I dont have alot of crazy plans for her just want her to be a good reliable lil truck so shes staying stock height. I had a lil insident with her a few weeks ago Well heres the deal. I was coming home from a float trip and a blazer was like 5 cars infront of us and he started rolling on the highway well him tire/drum/part of axle snapped off and came rolling towards my truck and we hit it @ 60 mph. so I need some front end stuff. had to get the pipe from exhaust manifold to cat from the tire and the new gas tank has seen better days. other than the front end I just need/ want little things done here and there LIke the shocks are original and real bad My dome light stopped working and I need new mirrors the ones that have two bars on the door. then she needs some body work and to be primed. then maybe a header etc. Sorry for suck a long rambling post Im just wanting to get to know you guys, and Im hoping that just because i want a nice running lil truck not slammed or anything that you guys wu=ill still help me out.
