project; what!??

after countless measuring today i got the lower arm mocked up. the way its working out. im thinking anyone can do this swap with there stock mazda arms. it will gain you like 1/4-1/2 inch more cleanrence for your wheels. i didnt have full lowers so i made my own. there like 13 1/2 inch lowers mounted in stock location. if anyone is interested in doing this swap ive got everything figured out. i just need to get the heims for the steering. but after countless hours at the parts store i found bolt in upper and lower ball joints that give a tremendous amount of travel!

well guys. here are some pictures!! i couldnt get rid of the chamber. just didnt look right since it was born on 24's with a ton of chamber. enjoy.

custom uppers. 1/2 longer then stock. s10 upper balljoints. 7/16ths heims.


cut off factory tie rod end on spindle. made my own mounts. used 7/16ths heims. gotta get another for the inner tie rod end. absolutley no toe change threw full travel.


made loweres with huge heims. 1 inch dom tubing with then 1 1/4 welded over that for superior strength. all plate is 1/4.


i got 2 more inchs of lift with this spindle swap at 100 psi. it untucks with ease! still using re7's.


gotta show that sexy ass chamber. the wheel well be out 5/16ths once i install the massive ssbc brakes.


lower balljoint is out of a chevy 3500 van. it will turn like stock still. also while tucking most rim!


almost tucking lug. its layed the FUCK out.



i got just a little bit more plating on the upper, and some gussetts on the lower arm. some stress gussetts on the tierod plate.

im really happy with the way this is turned out. everything couldnt of turned out better.

and there is still room for a v8 in there? holy shit.... how many inches from inner control arm to the other side inner control arm....

yup, 350 will fit in there tight, but it will be in there! im not sure on that. but i did narown the whole frame by 4 1/4 inchs up front.

ive decided to make a new radiator support. im looking to do a headlight swap. away from the norm to. i got my hands on some excursion projector lights. i have mixed emotions on them. they look bad ass, but almost to big and out of place. it will be all billit between the lights and the corners will be shaved and made to go with the curves of the lights. im looking for a headlight with more of a "classy" look. of yea, it will have a 4 runner bumper cover to.

whats everyone think?
