At the time all the "big" painters were doing it. Santini, Starbucks etc. I just wasn't cool with it and told him so before he painted it. It added insult to injury that it wasn't on straight and it was under the clear....rrrrrrgh!

i would have made that ass repaint the tailgate. even if i had to pay for it. would have done it just to show him i didnt want his stupid name on my truck.

Or take it to someone else and have em redo the silver part. .

You know, about that time I lost my job and was dirt poor. I would have done as you guys suggested, had I the money to re-do it. Now it is like part of the truck's history. I am going to have a touch-up guy fix the chips and will probably leave the paint as-is for as long as I can.

i friggin love the new signature rick. my buddy jo is from the old school. he is the one that ended up with outkastdawgs mazda and is in the process of rebuilding it. he dug out of the back of his closet a back window that he has had since 1989. he had it etched in myrtle beach, it has a palm tree with some sea gulls in the corner then a long line across the bottom of the window. its been in every truck hes ever owned. when he sold his last truck he stored it. now thats keeping the old school traditions alive....lol

Thanks Mikey. Thats the roadster circa 1992. I am kinda like your freind. I have three windows stored in my closet, 90's Toyota with a club logo, Another Mazda with another Clubs logo and one with Fleetwood on it from a Stockland Shell that cracked from my 4 15's.

Back from the dead! I am trying to get this pig smogged so I can take it to the Counsil Run next weekend. Then I have this crazy idea to tandem this truck
