this is about all i got done today, i am beat from helping someone move for about 17 hrs this weekend. really sucked! but here you go. i got the battery mounted in its temporary location until i finish the bed. i will be rollin to texmex cab and chassis.

got my brackets in today to redo the rear for the re7s. and dev i also got the line too. thanks man.



now i have a question. should i mount the upper brackets to the bars and notch or just the bars? i like the gap between the notch and mounts but it needs to be safe. let me know. thanks.

I would weld the whole thing as much as possible otherwise it could bend in the middle... just .02

the cross is 1/4" thick, do you still think it would bend?

Also consider the middle of the cross is bolted to the bag itself which is a fairley thick chunk of aluminum. IMO don't think the cross will bend - especially considering how much (little) weigh they will be supporting.
