I sanded down the dash, and even went to a 36 grit at one point. The other times it was 40 grit.
I did use a paint bush. Then on flat parts used a roller...
I used enough hardener, because by the time I got to a couple oz's left in the mixing cup it was hard and pretty hot as well.
The first time I tried, the resin we had was no good. But even after, it still never worked. Most of the dash sticked pretty good. But areas like the top of the gauge cluster it never sticked at all. Especially corners... I came to the conclusion it had to have been something in the dash...
