Well I have had these FBI hinges for awhile and I got to say I was inspired by (meesh) hes doing a great job on his. I mainly just needed good pics of them installed on a mazda. Well I still wasnt 100% comfortable cuttting into my truck so I practiced on my parts truck. The hinge buckets are welded secure together they are that close becuse my truck is traditional BD'ed and I moved the seatbelt up.Everything else is just tacked welded. I just wanted to get the placement down and binding issue down. Here are a few pic's of the trial I'm going to do it on my truck next weekend hope everything goes well. Oh yeah hope you guys dont laugh at my parts truck,LOL.

bro open them up more you want the brackets as far apart as possible or you will find in time that they will sag.

^ agreed! Look at the factory hinges and try to get close to that verticle spacing.

Have to admit though, that is an excellent parts truck for this project! You can get a very good look at how things fit without having to work around the dash and other interior bs.
