I wish I could, can't go no lower on the bottom hinge due to the stock seat belt. It will sag due to the bushings correct? The truck they will be permanent on will never be a daily driver and not driven much, V8 and no heater if you know what I mean.

That looks pretty good for a trial run....

Can you tell if it sags down bad right now and is it opening its full 90

No everything is just tack welded, mainly did it to make sure it would open the full 90 degrees with out hitting the cab. When I weld them in my truck I will set the adjustment screws to open less than 90 no need for it to open that far just nice to know I can. Once everything is braced and welded solid I dont believe it will sag unless the bushings wear out in the future. I know the hinges should be place farther apart but I want to keep the factory shoulder seat belt. I also spoke with other guys with different makes and models of trucks with the hinges placed about the same distance and they told they havent had a problem and i belive their doors are heavier ie. speakers, power windows, and such.

Thats the reaction I was ready for! LOL. The rest of the truck is on the trailer ready to go to the crusher and its to cold to try it outside so I said fuck it I'll cut the side off and take it inside!

I think it looks great.....go for it, brace it will...my s10 doors were so heavy but my courier door and i know mazda doors are not near as heavy

I had some free time and i just couldn't wait till this weekend. I braced the door and behind the door jamb very well. Door doesn't sag a bit closes great and opens to the full 90 degrees but I adjusted It way less than that. Door is about 5/8 of aninch from the body. Needs a little finish grinding, some body filler, rig up the inner door handle, and install the bear claw latch. I would have liked to take more pics but once i get working I honestly forget. Let me know what you guys think.
