Project Money Pit finally got layed

well im just getting started but here are a few pics
the day i got it
free 4x4 bed i picked up
5in body drop on bed for no holes when its bagged

about as close as i could get it to the way we are planning on painting it ill post some interior pics later

thanks. yeah i much rather do the bed this way so i dont have any holes when i gets bagged and i can keep the tank and all hidden

well i sold my 4x4 bed today cause it didnt look like i was gonna have time to finish it anytime soon plus i really needed to get a bed back on my truck and since i used the floor outta my original bed i didnt have one to put back on but im going tomorrow to pick up another 4x4 bed that is in alot better shape. when i looked at it last week i only found one dent in it and that was right above the tail light im just worried about the floor since it has a drop in liner that i didnt think to look under ill post pics when i get it home and some of it on the truck

well it was my first time doing it but it turned out pretty good i think the only real trouble i had was drilling the new bolt holes where the floor bolted to the bed sides. i just cut it even with the top of the fender well and about three inches from the tailgate. not thinking though i got it up in place i realized i should have cut out the extra metal between the fender well and bed rail when i do it again i will cut out the side wall between the fender well and bed rail it should make it easier to line up

i got my new bed home and decided to go ahead and put it on since its gonna be 3 weeks before i can get it into the shop to have the dents fixed and the floor had no holes in it

ya that looks alot better than the other one and just one dent to pull out nice and then just paint to match.

Looks fairly decent...just need some paint!
