prob just grey i gotta check another paint store here cause the one that i called said they couldnt tint it for me. if i tint the primer will it hold up just like epoxy cause im not sure how long its gonna be before i paint it

Tinted primer doesn't make any difference...It will hold up just as good as non-tinted...

if i use regular primer and tint it will i have to worry about it holding moisture and rusting from underneath since im not taking it to bare metal and just going over the paint that is there

There is no reason to take it down to bare metal, paint is so adhesive these days that all you need to do is give her a good scuff!

When I sprayed my mini, I bought a little bit of Zinc primer and I sprayed a light coat of that in places that would most likely rust, because Zinc eats rust! Then sprayed over the top of it with the regular primer...

You won't have any problems as long as you prep the truck very well...

99% prep and 1% painting

so if i pray the zinc in the places that might rust like where the paint has chipped or where it was sanded all the way down like where dents were fixed just spray it with a sealer then regular primer i will be good then

Yah, you don't HAVE to use the Zinc primer its just a pre-caution that I took.
