project (clueless) new pics 11/20/08

I seriously would have passed this thing by and gone with a stock truck to start fresh on instead of fixing hack work.

heres one i forgot....look how the bags collapse...there no where near lined up, some more homemade brackets and notch is just welded to the top of the frame.

i think i need a tetanus shot after looking at that truck. all the rust and horrible jagged cuts

the BD looks alot cleaner than the rest of the truck. im assuming it was done by someone else or at a shop. if it looked like the suspension, i would scrap this bastard...lol

i thought it was tacked too till i pulled it all apart a few mins ago....hte bottom of the bracket had what looked to be 3 or 4 passes of weld that were ablut 1" thick total.....i had to grind all that shit out and it was a royal pain in the ass

the truck just cost me $50 and alot of pain!

where i was cutting brackets off lastnight with the plasma cutter, it blistered my eyes and feels like i have glas in them now....guess my new glasses arnet dark enough....i feel good now tho, the doc numbed them up for me so i can see for a while.

i sure hope this shit heals up by tomorrow enough so i can see to work on it some more
