the wiring harness from painless wiring is simple...you just have to connect a few wires and then plug everything else up and your running. You dont have to reprogram the ECM if you aren't required to pass emissions or you have someone that will pass you. I'm just doing it because i have to pass emissions and don't want to pay $100 a year to get it to pass. The painless harness also comes with a diagnostic plug with an engine lite so i will know if something is wrong and i can have it diagnosed.
I will sell you my stock EM harness if you want it or you can find one on Ebay for abour $25. There isn't that much you have to tie in to get the factory harness to work. The engine runs of the ECM, so you power it and hook up the start and you should run.
