Project: Orange Howler (91 B2200FI)

Got the truck back at lunch today. I am really digin' the old school flavor of the velour on the door panels. The carpet is the wrong color, but I paid 200 for everything so I can't complain. I will get pics tonight. (I have to buy another digital camera)

Like many others have said... your truck is coming along very nicely man, I love the color and everything about it. I don't know if you plan on body dropping it or not (kind of just skimmed through the thread) but I think it would look way better without one.

Thanks, Yeah, I don't think I will do the BD. I have a custom SFBD frame on my other Mazda and it sits like 2" lower than this truck. I am too big for a SFBD with a traditional BD and that is the only way it makes sence to me to go. Besides, I have a "theme", nothing past 1991 on this truck.

Dude Im diggn the theme you have going! Thats the era that I got into minis and ive always loved that look! Dont bd it, I think it would ruin the look! Just no fat chrome fender trim or stainles rockers. lol You may be changn my mind with the direction Ill take my reg cab.

I just talked to Max and he says I can bring it in on Sunday. So...next week I should have the suspension sorted out and I can start really driving it daliy as planned. (Hint: He is going to plate the frame at any point that can hit the ground. DRAAAGG!) I am so stoked. I really want to be done with the mods by Cal Jam (June 9?) because me and the old lady are gonna enter both of my trucks. She helped me get the roadster ready for RESO, So I figure it would be a cool deal for us to show side by side at this show.

Man thats cool, me and my old lady used to both roll laid S-10s at the same time! we had the best arguments over whos we would roll! Shes my #1 support on me gettn my new dawg on the road so we go cruisn again!

the door panels look awsome. its wierd, the vertical lines kinda remind me of a shoebox s-10s door panel.
