tearin it apart... and buildin it back up

finally got another good day to work on the dawg. im filthy and in a shitty mood. was tryn to bang a body bolt out by the radiator and a cresent wrench fell and busted my lip.

oh yeah i got the stitches out the other day from my knife encounter, then proceeded to rip the nail off my index finger!

so i was sittn there wondering how i, gonna git these rusty bolts out of the body lift. i just ground all the heads off with my skil grinder. made a mess but theyre out. caught myself on fire and had a few sparks fly in my ear. thats a weird feeling.

also wire wheeled the frame, put on new rear shocks and rattlecanned the rear frame black. ill have some pictures up soon.

finally got the body bolts out of the cab. SPARKS WERE FLYIN!!! yes that is daylight. both corners are rusted.

oh yeah, fore i's forgets. them front lifts by the radiator were so bad, the bolts rusted to them!!! it was bad. was gittin mighty pissed thats when i rememberd my nifty lil torch. just soajed 'em in PB BLASTER and let 'em burn. didnt have any marshmallows tho

i wondered why it sat crooked after i did the bj flip.

well the drivers side was higher than the passenger by one inch. pushed it out of the garage and the passenger side was higher by one inch!

i think i gots a bad tire. so i took 2 white "wagon wheels" with itty bitty tires and put them on and the fronts even

sweet... btw should get you some mapp gas for your touch.... it burns quite a bit hotter (im a plumber and i can tell you from experience that propane vs mapp gas.... mapp gas wins hands down)

where do i git mapp gas? had some good gas last nite... ate at taco hell

it runs, its fairly low, its loud as FOCK! and damn does it burn rubber!

i got a new water pump on just to be safe and i'm in the middle of puttin new oil pump seal in. i have NO air tools and the Ebrake/trans aint holdin it enuff for me to use my breaker bar so i gotsta wait.

i was reain in another post bout some plug popped out on the oil pump that can be replaced if its leakin. anyone got a picture of that?

me and the g/f took it down the road today to see how she ran. man its fun to be drivin a mazda again! makes me remember my first one. seemd pretty damn fast tho today. pulled outta my road, wound it up and dumped the clutch. thats a great feeling goin thru 1st, 2nd and 3rd smokin the lil tires.

oh yeah one more thing. met up with a dude the other nite who has 17" eskies on his silverado. he's gonna roll the truck to collect insurance and is GIVING me the wheels!!! i cant wait.

maybe one day i'll git a bed on my truck.
