edit: think i may try to find another one thats got a title and just vin swap or swap parts or something... im gunna take the bed off tomorrow, and sand it down a little and poof can the cab and front end... oh and im gunna cut the springs and slam it...


what do you guys think? should i just buy a parts truck with a title?? then when im done with it scrap the parts truck with this title??

i think i may have a name for the project... how does "rat trap" sound lol

ok guys, trucks been sittin for a few days, ive been lookin for possible transplants, and donors, but the ones around here are too far for me to tow, man ive gotten like 500+ calls on this truck.. some guy wanted to buy it just for the badges haha i told him id sell them to him tho.. waitin for response on that..

stepside is not going on it.. i seen on on google and it looks ridiculously ugly.. imo..

not tring to tell you to break the law but i had the same prob one of my trucks i just had my wife write a bill o sale up and some one else sign it all you have to do is show it to them and they give it back

you know i was thinkin of doin that.. i figured hell i bought it legally why shouldnt i... plus the title is signed... but its dated 2006.. i dont wanna pay for someone elses penalties... so i was gunna write it up take it in and just be like what ever

i was also told if i know a certified mechanic they could just say that they worked on it for someone and it hasnt been picked up or payed for in two months and they need a title to sell it...

wow, its been sittin for about 2 weeks, i popped a battery in it and it started right up, didnt even smoke or anything!! i was like eff yeah!! only thing is it ticks a little since there like no oil in it from sittin for the last 2 years or how ever long it was sittin..

bad news:

the truck was towed for sittin on a public street with no tabs, ive been trying to get it but they wont let me because it isnt in my name.. even tho i have the title.. they told me if i transfer it then i can come get it.. so im s.o.l. the bill is already $150 and its $65 every day it sits there... so im thinkin screw it its time for another one. theres a black b2000 for sale for $300 and i was thinkin about it hard..

fuck dude.... i have an 81 courier... and a 74 and a 73 mazda.. the 74 is a parts truck for the 73 which is bagged and BDed.. but ya.. those truck are rareish.. no one wants them and the guys that do cant find them... mines is my snowboard winter beater.. lowered and flat blacked... too bad to hear it got taken from you..
