keep in mind im not using a little cap to cover the tungsten ive got a 6" top on it so its very hard to get this thing is small places.

Well I have definately seen worse!! To be honest it's pretty good - especially for your first time. If you weld the inside as well as you did the outside I don't see how the mount would EVER fail. Good luck with the project.

mmmmm i love the smell of fresh welds. i also love the smell of grinding, and bondo....im kinda goofy.

Those welds look damn good. From the slam specialties site it says the max height is 10" at 200 psi.

Yeeeap, 10"! BUT, add a little with the leverage of the truck and you might get 11-12".

The only smell I like is bondo and gasoline. Maybe a little bit of fibergalss resin too, lol. But other then that, no way!

Welds look good dropped! Get the rear going now!

hey man here is what i did, sorry i dont have any pics yet with the bag in there but this is a nice angle for the upper bag mounts and everything colapses as it should. let me know if you want more pics otherwise seth did a build where he angled the upper mounts like this, check it out man
looks great so far, i know how you feel with the help thing, everyone lived to far away from me and the ones that live close are too dam lazy!!!!

well this is the right side using the shop compressor at 120 psi. not as much lift as i was expecting but it was the only way i could get the 6 in and nothing rub. its worth it though because the ride will be better. so ill sacrifice a little. gonna weld up the drivers side tomorrow and then air management the next.
