Rear end is finished, got rid of the power steering and put a manual steering box is in. So, here is what I messed with the rest of the day. I started smoothing out the 2.3 block. Sorry the pics are so crappy...Shiny metal and camera flash are NOT a dynamic duo.

This will be a major time consuming job to get smoothed and looking good but, the results should be worth it. Even though 99% of people would never notice.

Here is the wheel choice.

18 & 20" Boss 338's.

where did you get your steering gearbox and was it a direct bolt in swap? also do you know if they steer hard or what the steerings like?

they steer hard, and just get same year and they are bolt in i swapped my 91 from manual to power and i like the power especially witha v8 and posi rear

The box I got came from a parts truck I bought. I turned the wheel sitting still in the yard and it seemed to turn real easy to me. It did still have the factory diamater steering wheel which in most cases is larger than an aftermarket wheel. And a smaller wheel would translate into harder steering.

Breathing a little life into a pretty much stalled project due to putting together a new race car over the winter for this upcoming season.
(Nothing new here) One of two compressors with water separator for the air ride. STILL NEED ANOTHER

Incorporating racing parts in as well. I will be moving the battery out of the engine bay and, moving it back hidden on the rear clip.

Not been working on the block too much as of late.
I did pick up a head and some other goodies of late though. Just got this LED in yesterday. I know this looks ghetto with the masking tape and all but, I just had to get an idea what its gonna look like. Even though this modification is a long way down the road.

Billet wheel
