hey ,im mike from new zealand,was told about the site from mike aka LVNLO.this is my 89 b2000 powered by a rb20det.currently at The Drop Shop getting bagged.
this is how i got it in 2005,fitted with rb20det runing a link ecu making approx 225rwhp.
few mods:
t3/t4 turbo
tial 38mm wastegate
top mount manifold
frontmount intercooler
greddy bov
modified inlet plenum
gtr injectors
excedy h/d clutch
gizzmo boost control/launch control/shiftlight
was then off to torque performance for a tune which resulted in 205rwkw
along the way have installed:
crystal lights
chrome door mirrors
carbon taillights
18inch mags/toyo tyres
after a year or so i thought it was time to send it into OD performance where i got
custom radiator
wastespark system
hks adj camgears/gates belt
this time sent it up to kent at speedsource for a tune,much better driveability from the tune,gone for more midrange power resulting in 200rwkw
gave engine bay a quick coat of black
burnout vid.diff was rooted,
dyno vid
new grill
at the drop shop stripped ready to get cut in half
new rear clip

thats where im up to at the moment.hopefully get it home soon so i can begin putting it all back together

I'm sorry. I will give my honest OPINION.
The bars in the bed (not that big of a deal) and the FMIC ruin that truck. I dont care about 292 forced induction horsepower. It looks like shit with the fmic coming THRU the bumper. I see RICE meets MINI....
Everything else is sweet. Even the use of an RB20, the most HATED engine in the 240s. I plan on using one in my HB. Excellent job on the engine work, just NOT feelin the fmic.

well the work look really well put together.. i like it.. i thought of a turbo for my truck.. but i ran into the same problem no where to put the intercooler.. owell.. nice truck

clean truck, but like mazDAMN said, i'm also not feeling the intercooler.

If it were <i>MY</i> truck, I'd get rid of the rollbar in the back of the bed, the tonneau cover, and remake it so it does'nt wrap around the bed but instead just stop on top like a normal cover.
I'd definitely try and get the intercooler behind the bumper somehow...
Other then that, I'm , LOL!
I'm AMAZED that the stock rear end can handle that much power still!
BTW, how big are the link bars and bushing ends? I don't necessarily like how the tabs on the link bars at the frame ends don't sandwich up to the bushing ends. I somehow think thats going to be bad when you have so much HP. As, well, are you bag on barring it or going the bridge route?
