sweet deal. your doing trailer fenders aren't you?

and you battery "Duralast, built to last" stupid commercial popped into my head when I seen it. lol

edit: what did they say about the cab corner money wise?

well im actually gonna try to raise the factory fenders, but the way it looks its not gonna work out. if they dont tehn trailer fenders it is.
i didnt ask yet, can you send me a pic of your truck with a box around where you want the cut piece? then i can describe what i want and they can give me a price.

i also started mocking up the electric fans. they are 10inch and fit beautifully. i just dont know which configuration im gonna go with. is there a good and bad to either or is it just for looks? which one would be better?

and also. the brake lines are super long and look like sh!t. can i shorten these, put a flare end back on the end, and reinstall them. or should i just replace them with new line and run them in a better way. where can i run them to get tehm off of the firewall?

I like the staggered fans better, just my opinion, and on the lines I would just shorten them up. If you relocate them you risk heat and impact/scraping of them, plus if you clean up the ends they will look better on the fire wall. All of which is just my thoughts for what they are worth. -ED

I looked at raising the entire inner fender when I did mine. For the amount of work it would have involved, and the way it would have looked, I decided to only do the inner fenders in the firewall. If you did the entire inner fender there would be a large gap at the bottom. You could fill it in or section it to make the side taller??? For the amount that I would have had to raise them, it wasn't worth it.
Here is what mine ended up looking like...

yeah im gonna give it the ol college try. from the measurements i did today, its not looking good. but wont know for sure till i start cutting. either way i still needed it all instead of the crap i got now. thanks for the input and pics. it actually helps out alot man.

I had to "trim" the blower box for the a/c to get it to fit back in with the raised fenders. I also had to get creative with the mounting, since all the firewall bolts got moved up. Also had to move the clutch mc inside (which I haven't done yet) We will see how everything else goes back in place once I get the dash back from paint.
