Yeah I had made a deal with a guy on downundertruckin before chuck gave me the go on his glass. I was gonna try to get both and have some spare stuff but some deals fell thru. I'm glad it went to a good guy that will appreciate it as much as I do. Hell it will look better on your truck anyway lol. Ill get mine eventually. I gotta get up some chrome door window trim and some rain guard chrome for a standard cab.

I found these on Street Source show coverage. I really like the front now that the hood matches. Did you get a hood from AU or did you add a piece to the front of a US hood?

Hey thanks rick for finding those. I actually cut the flat piece off the front of another hood and welded it to the bottom of my hood so that it would all the same curves. Then I freehanded the transitions and bondo'd it. I got some pics of it just forgot to post them. Ill update this thread tomorrow on my day off.
Man I tell ya you should have heard the guys at the show ask bout the front end and under the hood. They didn't know what to think. My ford emblem fell off so it made it worse for them to figure it out. I drug the truck a lot saturday night and burnt some spots of paint on the inner fenderwells. I look at it as I marked where I need to fix haha

Sweet. When I first lowered my truck I remeber being all pissed off about he burnt paint n my engine compartment, just the little bumps. Then I took my buddy Sean's plasma cutter and torched out those little holes. It never rubbed again.

I would leave the Ford emblem off and keep them guessing.

Its looking real good Mikey. What color are you going to paint it now?

i would leave it off as well, but if you dont you need a stamped gate to go with it...they are on all 83-92 rangers, just some have an alum. plate over it so you dont see it, pull it back and the stamped letters are under it

Once I get all the bodywork done ill address the rubbing up front and touch up under the hood and paint the truck red. I'm gonna do a stamped ford gater, just gotta find one I think is appropriate.
