Yeah man I used the stock hole. If you doing it to howler, you should french it in. Would go well with the 90's theme.

Sweet. That is a great idea. I am going over to Vato Zone tonight to pick one up.

have any of you guys ever looked into the powered blade antenna than can be mounted anywhere? no ugly antenna hole required... could mount it inside the fender if you have room, between the headliner and the roof, anywhere you want to hide it... just an idea... i had picked one up a while back, but it disappeared when my last truck did...

kinda like one of these...

im thinking of just running another cb antenna, they said with the right cable you can use one antenna for cb, one for am/fm. was thinking of using a second for my radio...

I put mine in last night. It goes up and down when the radio is turned on. I slid it over a little too so that I could use the flush mount included in the kit. Man those aftermarket fenders are thin. It drilled like butter. Mikey, do you know if there is an adjustment on how high it goes up? I think mine goes too high.

I have one on the roadster , except without the green parts. It doesn't work very well and I have always regretted shaving the factory antenna.
