B2600 4x4 Project

I started the rear bumper project today.









I still have a few more pieces of the "skeleton" to add before the skin goes on. It's going to be a lot more work than I planned, but I'm looking forward to how it comes out.

bumper work looks good soo far. im interested to see what its gonna look like.

Wheels/tires ordered today. 18" black Rockstars and 255/55 Nitto Terra Grapplers. They should be in by next weekend.

I hope to finish up the fabrication on the bumper over the weekend. I'll post pictures.

damn that truck looks awesome. not nosin but how much did the red cost ya? i'm gonna need my truck painted and tryin to figure out how much to save. man... i wanna cab plus and a 4x4 now! lol

Double checking here, but you did find your flares right?

If not, I have a set of rear flares I think. I will have to double check( it's balls cold right now ), but you can have them if needed.


Trucks looking great by the way.

I have just over $700 in materials. That includes base red, clear, "hot rod" black, all buffing supplies, sand paper, silver pin stripe, etc. I didn't pay any labor because I'm building a website for the painter. That's a perk of my profession. Everybody needs a cool website.

Yes, I did get some flares. They're sitting here right beside me and in surprisingly near perfect condition, but they look like crap on the truck with the stock wheels. I think it's because of the lift and my choice of tire on the stock wheels. Anyway, as soon as the Rockstars come in I'll throw the flares on.

I got the bumper finished up. It's at the local Line-X shop getting a coat of indestructo. It should be ready tomorrow sometime.

Before you ask, no, that's not the tag for this truck. It was a tag I had on my tow rig for my racing trailer (ATV Motocross).

man that bumper turned out way nice. any plans to do a front bumper too?
