lol truck is mine again, its all back together and driving, etc. some pics will be up tonight or tomorrow i gotta replace the rad cap cuz the rad hoses are bulging bad and over heating after about 2 hours of running... i just bought a new water pump and thermostat and it still bulges but didnt run it for 2 hours this time that was the head brake in period lol, so i think it can only be the rad cap.. any ideas?? or suggestions? thanks!

flush the radiator and make sure the fan clutch is good

yeah i did that right after the head rebuild bought some stuff that said radiator flush, also did an engine flush, maybe i should try it again.. ill do it tomorrow when i get the new cap.. another weird thing is that it was low after i let it sit for a about 15 minutes, i had to fill it up with a little more water even tho it was bulging 15 minutes before lol.. maybe the engine needs flushed with the rad connected cuz the instructions for the crap i bought said i needed to have the radiator completely disconnected from the engine and just pour it through it.. is this incorrect? i was just thinkin it would be stupid to just flush the rad and not let it go through the engine lol cuz it could be clogged up in there..

wow i spent $15 on that crap and i just read on some website google popped up i can use water LOL i feel real smart now

omg im gunna get rid of this one and get another cuz it keeps blowing out thermo gasket and water pump gaskets.. its building too much pressure im doing the cooling flush with flush n fill and the thermo starts spraying water like wtf? i used rtv blue is that not good enough? hmmm yeah im just gunna sell it and get a 2200 lol

ok if it deosnt sell, and untill it does i have been making it look better in case i do end up using it as a daily driver, any good ideals that dont cost that much money, i painted the exhaust flat black with rustoleum 2000 degree paint... and the grill and smoked the front lights.. here are the pics i took for craiglist lol

i think you have a cracked head or the new head gasket is bad sounds like the compression from the engine is going into the cooling system

yeah thats what napa guy said, then i replied, your store owes me a new head then... cuz they rebuilt it.. and when it came back it had the same old gunky valves, still smokes a little? and they lost my cam bearing bolts so i had to get new ones.. never use napa to rebuild a head.. you get what you pay fore i should have bought a new one for $250 instead... but im hoping thats not it.. how can i tell if it is? i retourqed the head at 60 ft pnd cuz the books said 57-64.. im really getting mad at this crap

i havent read the whole thread and im too lazy to, but could it be a clogged radiator?
