well man i just hate 4th and 5th bc i think 4th should be 5th and a new diffenrt 4th gear thats lower taht way it will pull harder i guess your like me you liek to have good pulling gears but no top end but idk thats me

No pics of the front install on bags?

Well head gasket to a shitter on the me the other day. I should have seen this coming with the shitty gasket set that came with the motor. So tearing the motor back out to bring it to the motor shop. Either getting another long block or my money back.

On the side note should be picking up another parts truck.. diesel. dually??

u said in one of the first post that the turbo would void the warranty but you didnt care you was gonna do it anyways.

Sorry what I meant was if it blows I have a warranty and will go get another engine. Will know more about which engine I will be going with over the weekend.

Well its been a while. I recieved another longblock from the company. It looks like they took the same engine and just rebuilt it and ground down the block numbers. Its been sitting on a pallet for a week or so. I have been debating about to many other engine swaps and need to get this thing on the road.

So if your in dallas and are looking for a b2200 diesel. Theres one in dallas for a couple hunder dollars with a dualy rearend under it. Currently looking at a 85 rx7 13b engine and tranny and wiring harness to rebuild for a later install. Into the truck or another rx7.


Currently working on swapping transmission from stock to an 83 rx7. Pics









Reason for swapping the shifting forks or whatever they are called.

Kinda curious to see as to how this pans out, could gain alot of good info out of this. What's this new tranny geared at?

Sorry, couldnt find any pics from when the front bags where installed. I still have to cut the fender wells out so I will get pics up then. Installed and ran the new engine yesterday. Took it for a cruise this evening. I like the new tranmission. Shifts great.

So really the only huge difference is 1st and partial second. Is the swap worth it?

Considering 3rd and 5th gear were making noise yes. The turbo spools up in the lower gears so much easier now too. Wouldn't happen to know what the rearend ratio is on our trucks do you?
