why dont you do the short waterpump conversion from ford racing. ford racing part # M-8501-A50 and pulley kit M-8509-M you can order the parts from summit or your local ford dealership. it will set your water pump pulley back 1.75 inches for more room. i had done this conversion in my friends old 1988 mustang so it will work with any 5.0 ltr motor. so you can have your stock rad in stock placement with electric fans and still clear the pulley to fan placement. the water pump and timing chain front cover is $206 from ford and the pulley kit im still waiting to here back to see the new design and cost on the pulleys old design was $103. the pulley are billet in design not steel like stock ones.

Keep in mind, this will only work on a motor with a serpentine belt.
It will cause problems on v-belt motors!

maybe, if i remember the pully is an offset pully so you can get the water pump and then put a stright pully on it and maybe the belts will line up...... i had a 302 in mine once but never got around to puting the shorty pump in

I GOT IT WORKING I JUST NEED TO FINISH THE WIRING AND MASTER CYLINDER. I HAVE BEEN BUSY WITH FAMILY ISSUE

The short pump is a reverse rotation pump...
That's why it can only be used with a serpentine belt.
V-belt pumps rotate in the same direction as the crankshaft.
