Mounted my Sanden 708

Ok well I got workin on my new Pup. . . And I figure since I'm gonna be drivin this, I need my train horn on it So I had to mount my Sanden 708 that I converted to run on grease on the motor. . . There was a spot open on the motor so i made the bracket to mount it there. . . I had never seen any brackets people made to do somethin like this so I was jus gettin out there and doin it! haha. . . . I'm pleased with how it turned out. . . Now I jus have to get line to run to the tank from the compressor, mount the tanks, horns and valve, and plumb it, and I'll be ready to go!!

Most of the time when you use an a/c comp as an air comp, you have to have an oiler and and oil catcher. . . VERY high maitenance. . . When you convert it to run on grease, you only need an oil catcher, jus to catch residual blow by, which is nothin compared to gear oil blow by!! You never have to oil them but maybe check it out every once in a while and maybe re grease it. . .

You have to take it completely apart and get every bit of oil out of it. . . Then repack it with grease. . . I put probably 6oz extra in the crankcase also, jus to be safe. . . But thats about it. . . Its def not too hard. . . The most challenging part is gettin the pistons to go back in the cylinders haha
