well this is just a rough idea for my seats... swap the passenger and driver sides from the vw positions... ie vw passenger seat is my drivers seat and vice versa
im gonna be bolting them straight to the floor, with the front lip of the jetta seats sitting just over the hump in the mazda floor. with them on the floor i gain like an extra 3 inches of clearance between my noggin and the roof. i tried to figure out a way to custom fab the mazda rails to the jetta seats without welding and it was going to be near impossible and the seats would have sat way too high in cab. i lose the ability to move my seats forward and back but im the only one that should be driving my truck so why cant they be static mounted? lol

well i got the seats in today... still need to fab some bolting points in the rear under the seats, but i have the front secured and they feel nice. current mounting is only temporary as i will find a more secure way to have them bolted to the floor. they already feel way comfier than the stock buckets that were in serious need of some cusion... i was even able to keep the factory up/down of the jetta seat for my driver side...

so i was supposed to meet one of our other drivers around 7.30 to get my bus from him so i could finish off the charter we had scheduled tonight... 7.30 turned into 9 so while i was bored and needed to kill time i decided to get some paint... these are almost done i just needed to wait for the paint to dry so i could mask off the blue lip and touch up the black... i think they look awesome!

so today i swapped out my b2600i gabriel ultra front shocks and replaced them with 92 isuzu pup 4x4 shocks, compressed stroke is 9.00 in and the isuzu 4x2 front shocks compressed were 8.52, so im no longer bottoming out my 16s on the inside of my fender well, and im not longer bottomed out on stock shocks. the ride up front already feels a lot nicer.
