would look sick behind a phantom grille too.....

I think it will look better with what he's trying to do. I don't see the point of swapping to quad round lights just to hide it behind a phantom.

with how much the rounds stick forward i wouldnt be able to fit them behind a phantom... i've had one before and even still you have to recess factory headlights to make it work... i could do billet in between the headlights... but that would mean i need a billet grill to chop up to make work... and for some damn reason billet phantoms for the full size chevy's are only like 110 bucks, and the trex phantom for the mazdas are still 300... and i'd get more grill to cut up with a full size chevy phantom... i did however see an older chevy or ford today, quad rounds, with surrounds that might be easier to graft in than the honda ones... but i still have yet to get close to a "finished" grafting on the driver side... been busy... should be able to get some work done on it tonight or tomorrow

ok so i've scrapped the honda headlight bezel idea and have decided to fiberglass the grill and just cut out holes for the head lights...

are you going to cut out the center for air flow to the radiator. oh and btw you have to recess head lights anyways for a phantom to fit.

Now you really have my attention. I will be watching this grille build for sure.

im not going for a phantom look, ive already had it and it got more cop attention than i really want... right now im just working on glassing the whole grill, going to cut holes out for the headlights... maybe do something with some custom cutout holes and some billet on the inside of the grill behind the glass... i cant imagine airflow being an issue if i did leave it solid... after puttin in my electric fan i ran a lot of the time without the fan on, and only kicked it on for while sitting idle... i cant imagine the openings in the lower valance not getting enough air to be able to do what it needs to...
