cause i didnt have hardly anything for clearance... thats why i couldnt bring the bike back... and if i bagged the truck or went lower static i wouldnt have had room... now i have plenty and even have enough room to do tool boxes under the bed plus i can now carry more weight without hitting my tires

THat new header flange is clean, what thickness are you using? ive been thinking of making a header for my 1.8 im building, but the tubing part seems scary...keep pics coming in build

I picked up some 1/4in plate for a decent price at a local scrap yard. They have quite the selection, and had a full pallet of the 1/4in plate, in good condition, so I got a 5ft section of that and pipe at the same time.

Are you a machinist? What are you using to get those cuts like that? How are you going to verify that it is flat enough for a gasket? Just curious as I will eventually want to do this myself.

No... I make pizzas. I used a drill bit for the rounded sections and stud holes, hole saw on a drill press for the exhaust holes, and a grinder with cutting discs, grinding discs and flapper discs to get it where its at
