Dang man most people just buy some I give ya props for building yours.

I didn't feel like buying an aussie set when I could use that money to buy tools instead that would let me build my own and be able to use those tools for other projects...lol

Took time to read all the way through this today... faukin sexy man! You've been to hell and back with this truck and came out with a smile!

how hard was it to build the flat bed?

I spent a few days doing it, built it on the frame of the truck, started off with square tube and bolted it to the factory bed mounts, then just kind of figured how I wanted it to look in the end and tried to keep that picture in my head while I was building... It was also a couple hundred bucks at the steel yard for materials... I probably spent as much time there trying to think of what I needed and how much if it as I did building the bed... Lol

haha that's awesome! I'm looking one to build one out of aluminum with a steel frame on it

You aren't too far from me, maybe one of these days we can get together and you can get a close look at the bed for some ideas
