I am sure this paint job is beautiful in person and was a lot of work, but for some strange reason I liked the plain blue better

This truck is just amazing though. Congratulations for the Power Block appearance!

I really liked it blue but i grew tired of the single color and being a painter its easy for me to change things like that.... and when they shot it for minitruckin' they told me that a dark single color on the cover... so they featured it like it was and I told them i already had some changes in the works, i almost did full graphics on it but wanted more of a hot rod style.

It sure is a hot rod worthy paint scheme! Like I said, your truck is beautiful regardless. Is the hot rod style a Severed Ties thing? I was looking at that amazing dime on the cover of MT, it definitely has a hot rod flavor to it. It's weird that they photoshopped the Severed Ties logo off of the rear window for the cover picture

I wouldnt say its a severed ties thing just what i wanted, As for taking the logo of i have no clue why they did that or why the truck is mirrored on the cover either... the graphics should be on the other side...

Im glad that I was able to finally find this build on here. Top notch work and detail from what I can see in the pictures.
Is this the same truck that used to be primer gray with what I recall a gray and blue tweed interior years ago?
idminitrucker (jason)   +1y

No I never showed this truck in primer its first show was WCN 09 with no interior or bed the first show it was 100% finished at was Sittin Pretti 10, and i started the rebuild right after WCN 11 and first show after the rebuild was showfest 12, finishing the interior stuff now and it will be at severed in socal 100% done again.
