If we could just take a minute to think about "why" you shouldn't put the tank in the cab, I think that the apparent answer would be, IT'S NOT SAFE!!

Let's say you get rear-ended, or you rear-end someone. That tank is head height and do you really think that it is going to stay there when there is a large amount of g-force pushing against it? Probably not, but it's your choice man...

Another big reason if the accident doesn't scare you is this:

Ya they were recalling chrome tanks because so many were blowin up. . . I would never put a tank in the cab, let alone right next to my head. . And a chrome one at that. . . Please put it in the bed man. . It'd look better in the sun anyway

Damn that would be a little bit of a headache. Yeah I want the wall to be part of the console which will house gauges, switch box holder, cup holders, etc. Yeah I thought about the tank popping, but didn't know about the chrome one's doing that. It's coming out today!!! Dev, I'll be hitting you up for some tanks in the next month. Screw the chrome crap. If that pops in the bed, it could shatter the window. Thanks guys.

Well since the move has left us broke for at least 3-4 weeks, I'll do "free" stuff like shave the drip rails, relocate the tank and valves back into the bed, etc. lol. Damn those pics look worse the second time around... just noticed all the damage it did to the trunk!

Good choice my friend...

Also keep in mind that the tank in the pictures WAS NOT DOT APPROVED!!!

I only carry DOT Approved tanks, even in the chrome finish if you still wanted to go that route!

Nah, I'm liking the black 5-gal slims you got. Will go better with the theme I have in mind. Actually I'm gonna shoot you a PM about rear link setups. My zuzu was a 50/50 setup and I didn't care for it, not to mention the lift wasn't as much as I wanted.

I feel ya on the move alone....I gave up the 3 bd/2 ba 2 car.....went to apt and did my 4x4 truck in the parking structure...in 100+ weather...that kinda sucked...finished it at nites when it was a lil cooler...then it caught on fire....the kia was next with timing belt...and then moved into a new place after getting robbed blind a bunch....then now to this house...and each and every time...all on my own...so this last move...I just didnt care any more...gave everything away pretty much...except my bed and my loved stereo stuff...the rest I just said to hell with it.

Glad you got all moved....sux hearing your truck wasnt finished up the way you hoped...but look on the brighter side.....when its hooked up...you will know how and what is hooked where and most importantly...know its done right! Not back alley half assed! LOL

Shoot, I do NOT miss AZ. Mesa boy here and 100 degrees??? When? At night with a strong breeze maybe lol. More like 115 average. People die every summer from that heat. But yeah, the notch was supposed to be done, now that's not AND the bed bolts are MIA as is the dang compressor. The air lines are hanging under the truck... just little crap. But I will fix it right and it will drag again SOON! Any New Mexico guys want to help out lol? I got tons of ice cold Coronas and limes
