Yep, the threaded part will be charged when in use. I'll be covering it with a battery cable connector that fits on the wire...nothing fancy. If that makes me nervous, I'll just build something around it with sheet metal or plastic...

Your right. It may not be to obvious in the pics but the attachment to the top of the axle is the fixed pivot. Most of the ones I've seen are fixed at the center position, but I decided to make the center floating for clearance issues around the axle. Hope that makes sense....

all your link points are parrell with the frame... are you going to run a pan hard or track bar or anything for side to side motions?

We will be running a Mumford Link. Out of all the ones I've done, I've never done it and thought it might come in handy here...so I wanted to try it... We have all the links made up, just gota get it mocked up...

im really likin the look of that rear setup. a nice change from the standard setup. looks like itll perform pretty nicely.

Its a Mumford Link. The previous couple pics are of the linkage that goes on a crossmember on the frame right behind the rear end. It will sit lower than the pumpkin and the rod ends you see on each side have a bar thats attached to them that runs to each end of the rear end.
