well i got the tranny out to find out there isnt much worn away on the old clutch, which is cool cause carquest gave me the wrong clutch set... so i cant even use the new one... im workin on tryin to get the tranny back in and its really being a pain in my ass... i had to stop cause i was so frustrated i wanted to smash something... and it came out so easy too... just 6 bolts that hold the tranny on...

rofl... just take it easy. my first time took idk maybe an hr.. i can lift my trans and put it into place no prob. i took it out 3 times in one day because of the pressure plate wasn't any good.

so i sold the jetta about 2 weeks ago or so... guy is making payments, i have the title still in hand... and he wrecked it just this last monday... went under the backend of a brand new toyota prius... cool thing is with as bad as it looks its all bolt on parts that got demolished... stuff that was all planned to be replaced anyways with upgraded parts... looks pretty bad but no frame damage... thank you for bold in core supports... lol

dang dude is the guy going to pay for what happened or is it out of pocket for ya???

he's going to pay or hes not getting the title and he will just have a wrecked car sitting in front of his house... he thought about just having me sign the title over to the tow company but i told him hes already got money into this car... that all we need to do is collect parts and in a couple months we could have the car stripped and rebuilt back to what it was or better. so that is the route we are going.

never sell a car on payments

todd, if this guy skips out on the bill, there will be problems between our families, and im not talking just him and me. we have a written out agreement and ive known the guy for several years. he's now just in much financial problems with the car wrecked as i am. we both work for the same company during cruise ship season and i had 2 vehicles and his family of 4 or 5 had none. i did the deal with him on payments because i knew his family couldnt survive without the car. his wife has a work vehicle but they arent supposed to use it for personal business.
