its z,d 2"and lays flat out ,its also a daily driver ,it would be stupid to lay door and mess up my paint job ,i thought way ahead about it ,and was the smartest way to go ,plus on these trucks ,with a 2 :z and spindles and bags ,the rear pan is only a few inches off the ground ,ill show you some pics layed out ,let me mount my new rims this week and slam it

we are doing the same for my brothers truck ( its an 86chevy) and we did a 3inch with 3inch drop spindles and it sets on the arms not the frame and we cut the bottom 1.5 off the frame so it sets with the body now and its .5 off the ground it dont really lay out per say but its close ( that way we dont f'up the paint on the frame and the body dont hit ether......not saying anything about your set up just telling you what we did of course he has big ass tires on a set of 20's right now too i thank they are 275/45/20's.... he needs them tho he loves curbs( im going to cry the first time he hits one when we are done with the truck)

Well I did make it back to Iowa and just wanted to say it was a good time and was happy with how things turned out. Definitely appreciate all the comments. Now just looking forward to some quality pics of it sitting in the Pennsylvania sun
