thanks man. this is my first body drop, I'm hoping everything goes semi smooth.

Good luck on the drop, looks like you are headed in the right direction already. Should be pretty smooth.

Hell yeah man things are looking great! I bet that deadener was a bitch to get up and out. All your lines and cuts look dead on. Just remember to cut and lower the tranny tunnel so you can keep your heater box and radio housing. Of course any questions hit me up man.
hunterw   +1y
thanks guys! hey mikey actually do have a question for you....how does yourback wall look? mine doesnt line up great on the edges and i wondered what you did there.. but ill bethe first to admit....i messed up cutting some areas. its hard to cut the ext cab part...lol

more progress today

oh and also....anyone have pics of how they cut the front body mounts?
bagdb2200   +1y
Hell yea! Your truck's gonna look good with a BD! And +1 for what Mikey said, you're gonna want to lower your tranny tunnel so you can reuse the factory heater.

You want pics of the front cab mounts, or the very front like the core support?
mazdawg(mikey)   +1y
My back wall I didn't cut anything out. I let it overlap and weld both sides. Had to do some relief cuts to get it to lay. Basically I'd weld alil the hammer then weld some more. I think all my bd pics are on my myspace page. I know myspace right, who uses it anymore. I'm no where near a pc to post anything for ya. For the core suppoer mounts I cut to the inside of the bumper mounts and brought the whole ear down.
