so were 4x4 flares cut out of another bed and grafted onto the current one?

well im confused then... im trying to figure out the flat black around the fender wells... why it isnt painted to match the rest of the bed... i was asking if the flares had been damaged before and if new ones had been grafted in place of the damaged ones and maybe thats why the flat black around the rear fenders...

no some one hit the truck on the pass side b4 i bought it it was repaired just not painted
