PROJECT: DIRTY DAWG: 87 B2000

i got my oil pump and did some more paint. the jams are completely done and all i got to do is paint the roof and pass door and the cab will be done. i need to get a pass fender and a hood theres way to much bondo on them for my likeings. driver door need to be replaced also alot of rust and dints so it need that too. im looking for driver door, pass fender, and a hood. i waiting on payday to get more supplies to finish up the body work. and on the paint im not sure but it really smooth and its got a litle bit of shine to it. its come out completely different than i thought it would be.... here some more pics

oh yeah its a rattle can paint job, so the truck can be one color instead of 4. so far i have 30 dollars into paint and still have 6 cans left and about 50 into all my sand paper and paint prep tools and crap and gas going into town so it will be less than 100 paint job. it takes me 35 minutes to drive to tallahassee from where i live at now.

thanks everyone. im no body man but i have learned a lot from multiple body guys. so i know its all in the prep and im taking my time and its coming out smooth as glass, that might be why its got a little shine to it. i got 3 days into prep in on the back of the cab and jams. ill keep you all up on the updates when i got them.

did some more work to the truck today, more paint atleast and i have a complete short block that i built.now im still waiting on the head. i still looking out for a hood, pass fender and driver door to completely finish the paint job.

i put the primer down on the block today waiting on it to full cure before i spray it the final color. i think i might spray it a gloss black color not sure yet......

thanks its my SLOW work in progress. but there noone close thats wants to help out on it and i only get some saturdays to work on it but every tuesday and sunday
