So I picked up Meathead today from Toddluck and came to the conclusion that it will be a little less work to build the red maz i have (has no name) than to build Meathead. So what im gonna do is pull meatheads motor and build it in my spare time and take all the body minus the cab and replace all the red maz's sheet metal. so from hear on out since most of the trucks body an a lot of its other parts are from meathead the build will be called Draggin' Meat!

heres what i started with. i will dig into meathead all this week and disassemble her and the pars will slowly make their way on to draggin meat!

whats wrong with meathead that your not using it/keeping it together? toddluck pulled out the dash harness was it? or engine harness and everything? whats the harness thats piled on the floor?

that was a nice truck...although the tires are tiny on those rims! lol

The original idea was to build meathead and pull the harness and engine out of the red truck, but i took all aspects in to consideration and building the red truck out of meatheads sheet and various parts will be alot less work and the end result will be the same. The red maz is in GREAT shape mechanically and cosmetically (besides paint) and I kinda want a driving project.

The complete wiring harness was takin out and put into "Wet Yet" and the wiring harness you see is wet yets original botched harness and meathead has a blown headgasket. So i plan on taking the engine out of meathead and rebuilding it as i go along over time until my motor in the red maz takes a dump.

LOL the tires are way to small.. im gonna put those tires on my escalade wheels just to get them mounted on the other truck until i can get some 215/55/16 tires on them.

So, meathead should be disassembled this week and all the parts should be on Draggin Meat by the weekend and hopefully get the front bag setup on at the work party in yelm on the 3rd, still gotta get my fittings and junk though!

Man i went today to get air fittings for my shop compressor and i cant hook up anything until i get just one 3/8 to 1/4" reducer.. lol. but tonight the wheels and tires will be swapped and tomorrow i plan on taking the body panels, doors and hood off and then possibly grinding the tabs off of my hubs to fit the eskies.

Im thinkin to make her "mine" I will so a copper/black two tone (maybe) and paint match the stock grill. After all the suspension and shiz im gonna knock out the interior. Custom console with switches and cupholders with a single 12" JLw3 so i can keep my rear seats for the kids lol. Suede doors, console, and roof.

Who knows what will change between now and then though
