i like that color

The color is alright, but the application sucks. They painted the truck with everything on it and did a very poor job masking.

It has a few oops on it and needed body work anyway.
So it gets something I will like better

stripped out the interior tonight. well not all of it but what i am gonna do for now.

will start on the bumper bracket this weekend and bring the motor home from my job next week.
i will be using the kia harness and computer but i have already stripped down the harness, ie removed un-used circuits and whatnot but i didnt take pictures during the process. was to busy starring at wiring diagrams to take pictures. will take some of the outcome though for those who wanted to see.

Just haven't had time or money to work on my own truck. Sad but haven't touched it since last post.

ok seriously i got some work done on the truck. yea. installed a one piece rear window i got a local yard for $50. looks so much better.

also got the original engine pulled in order to do the kia swap. kia engine is on a stand and the mazda will be soon.

my inspiration for building a drag truck came from this video



but it has a toyota motor, i want to stay mazda, or mazda badged.

i have been looking into the duratec v6. the 3.0 liter makes about 200 hp and can be boosted to close to 600. i would need a adapter to run a c4 trans and would definately need to back half the truck

opinions, thoughts, ideas?
