Did you cycle the rear and see how much the pinion angle changes through the travel? You might get away with just cutting off the lower shock mounts and re-welding them poking rearward from the axel. This might give you the clearance you need. Also, you might need shorter shocks if you do this.

I love those wheels BTW. they are going to look great all painted up. Are you going to go with body color, or a contrasting color.

got sum more work done last nite..taped up gettin ready for etch primer...got sum mud to do on roof 1 small spot and the pass cab pillar then 2 small spots on hood...and all the body werk is done!! except the bed...kinda up in the air bout what im doin..and got the other 2 wheels taped and scrubbed so thats finally done too...i believe mon. nite imma squirt some primer on it tues and wed imma wet sand and block it and get it ready for color{s}? oh and took the autometer gauges out{they are for the doored truck] and put the new gauges in and installed both of the sending units so its all functional..and i still haver all the factory dummy lights/buzzres installed for dual protection...and i lkike the black on bl;ack better for this truck then the poloshed lip of the autometer gauges..and yes i know they are crooked..its on purpose so the needles are at a certain level as it runs so at a quick glance i dont need to look at numbers jus where the needles are.
